- History: Atticus was born shortly after his parents moved to Rome from Attica, Greece to start their new family. Atticus has been a blacksmith for over 30 years, crafting some of Rome’s finest weapons and armor. He has crafted many swords for Julius Caesar’s personal guards, and has even given one of a custom design to Caesar himself. Atticus was formally a Centurion in the Roman army for 6 years before retiring. And while his time in the army was short lived, it was a deadly 6 years as Rome was constantly in conflict.
Atticus believes that one must wield a weapon in battle to truly understand how to craft one. After all, it’s life and death in war, you either win or you lose. And if your weapon breaks, you lose. Every weapon that Atticus crafts is tested by him personally. Atticus and Otho often duel to test the craftsmanship and durability of everything they make. While Atticus mostly crafts, he loves his fellow citizens of Rome and is often repairing their broken weapons, shields and armor.
