Quarter 2, 2024 has come to an end and Quarter 3 has begun. We completed several major milestones this quarter which included completing the Colosseum and are excited to share everything else. But before we get into the details we would like to Welcome 2 new members to the team! Tim Murosky and Patrick VanNortwick. Tim, a 3D Artist has joined us to create the general buildings of Rome. And Patrick, a 3D Animator has joined to create animations for gladiators, NPCs and animals. Welcome! Moving into this next quarter we will continue to work toward our Kickstarter goals which will have a heavy focus on combat related tasks.
Code
- Implemented and improved the music system
- Implemented functionality for Music and Master volume controls in the Settings menu
- Created 3D Audio volumes to play specific music tracks when the player enters an area
- Crossfade between music tracks as you enter and exit volumes
- Implemented system to sync horse animations with the rider for online gameplay
- Created door prefab to enable interaction for any door
- Fixed interaction with multiple types of actors by using a priority system
- Worked on moving chat to new DB system
- Improved companion and graffiti windows to allow column expansion when you click on an option
