- History: Agusts is a well known Magister that runs a very popular Ludus in Rome. His Ludus has had more than 200 men fight in the Colosseum. The Lanista is Amadi Khaldun, a well respected and disciplined former solider of Rome. It’s not all glory and fame in the business of gladiators though, nearly half of the men trained in his Ludus don’t survive more than a few fights. The few that do manage to survive in battle become well taken care of by Agustus.
Survival in the Colosseum isn’t the only thing Agustus and Amadi teach though. They teach the fighters how to gain the favor of the audience in the everlasting search for Glory. Agustus always reminds the men before battle to “Seek eternal glory through victory, and win the crowd’s favor for your freedom”.
